VOICE'em is a public space where anyone can post constructive feedback on anything people, products, businesses, or events and more. The platform allows users to create public profile pages that serve as dedicated destinations for community opinions in many forms such as feedback, Opinions, FanMoments, complaints, suggestions, ideas and many more based on category type.

This document outlines the features and functionality of VOICE'em, a community-driven feedback platform designed to be the "Wikipedia for Feedback." Whether you are a casual user sharing an opinion or a business owner managing your reputation, this guide explains how the platform works.

1. Profile Pages: Community-Curated Directories

Like Wikipedia, VOICE'em relies on crowd sourced information to build its directory.

  • Create a Page: If a business, person, or product isn't listed, any user can create a page for them and immediately post feedback.
  • Public Editing: Profile information names, contact details is editable by the community to ensure accuracy.
  • The Locking Workflow: To prevent constant changes, a page can be "Locked" once the community agrees the information is complete. This requires one user to request a lock and a second to confirm it.
  • Page History: Every edit and revision is tracked in a transparent "Page History" log.
  • Claiming a Page: Individuals or business owners can verify their identity and "Claim" their page. Once claimed, the owner has exclusive editing rights.

2. "Voices": Tags, Topics, & Star Ratings

Feedback on the platform is organized to be more than just a comment section.

  • Tags: These categorize the intent of your feedback e.g., Complaint, Suggestion, Idea, Fan Moment.
  • Topics: These are specific areas within a category e.g., for a restaurant, topics might include "Service," "Quality," or "Price".
  • Star Ratings: Users can provide detailed ratings based on specific variables tailored to each category. The top of every page displays an automated average score.
  • Editing Posts: You can edit or delete your own feedback as long as the post is live and has not yet been archived archives occur monthly.

3. Categories & Location Features

VOICE'em supports over 30 categories, including Personalities, Products, Movies, Podcasts, and Sporting Events.

  • Country-Based Feeds: You can set your feed to "Global" or filter it to your specific country to see local personalities and businesses.
  • Google Pin Integration: When reporting location-specific issues like a road accident or a local service issue, you can drop a precise location pin on the feedback form.
  • QR Codes: Every profile page generates a unique QR code. Users can download or print these to link others directly to a feedback page.

4. User Verification & Identity

While VOICE'em is open to all, certain features require identity verification via Stripe Connect or Persona:

  • Personality Pages: To prevent harassment, you must be a verified user to create a profile page for a "Personality" or to post feedback on one.
  • Badging: Verified users receive a checkmark badge on their profile photo.
  • Verification Rewards: Verification is required to receive platform rewards and payouts.

5. Subscriptions & "Linking Pages"

Power users and business owners can unlock advanced tools through a subscription:

  • Linked Pages: A "Linked Page" allows you to track and access data for a specific profile. Free accounts can link 2 pages User's Self Profile page and another user created profile Page; subscribers can link additional 3 pages with the option to buy more on the web version. Another user's profile page cannot be added as a linked page to any user on the platform in order to maintain privacy.
  • Direct Messaging DM: Subscribers who have linked a page can directly message users who left feedback on that page to resolve issues privately.
  • Data Export: Subscribers can export monthly feedback data as a CSV file for analysis.

6. Contributor Rewards

VOICE'em rewards users for high-quality contributions. You can earn a "Weightage Score" for:

  • Creating new, complete profile pages.
  • Providing detailed feedback.
  • Sharing pages or liking helpful feedback.
  • Reviewing and locking profile pages.
  • Note: Rewards are distributed periodically by the Admin from Ads. revenue and require a verified Stripe Connect account with a platform subscription.

7. Advertising & Statistics

Any signed-up user can promote content through the platform:

  • Ad Types: Create banner ads matching the feed style or interactive surveys and polls.
  • Scheduling: Ads can be one-time or set to a repeating schedule with automated billing.
  • Performance Tracking: A personal dashboard allows you to see how your ads or surveys are performing in real-time.

8. Accessibility & Technical Note

VOICE'em is available as a Progressive Web App PWA on your browser and as a mobile app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If you prefer the web experience, you can even "install" the PWA icon directly to your home screen for quick access.
